Aeon Flux Movie in the Works

IMDB on it; CNN article telling how Charlize Theron was injured on the set.

For those who don't remember, Aeon Flux was originally an MTV Cartoon that appeared on the Oddity (10 Spot I think). The art was pretty strange not to speak of the subject matter. On the whole, it was rather entertaining and I enjoyed it. (I have a video tape with a few episodes on it.)

I can't believe they're making a movie of the cartoon, though! And with Charlize Theron as Aeon Flux?!? Wow!!! Plus, they have one of the cartoon's original writers, Peter Chung, working on it. I hope the movie turns out well!

ADDENDUM: Correction:
Aeon Flux originally aired as part of MTV's Liquid Television as 3-5 minute episodes during the first season in 1991. The second season they became individual episodes, lasting 30 minutes each. This animated series is set in the future, a colorful hybrid of Japanese animation and Heavy Metal graphics.
